192 Days gone by ! and boy what lessons!
It’s been 6 months + , since I decided to actually learn programming. Initial days gave me nightmare’s in terms of selecting a language to learn, about the resources to approach and about how I should spend/manage my time.
190+ days gone by and I really have no regrets. I learned a lot ! actually learned a lot of basics. Unlearned a lot ( There was a load of shit I had to unlearn, basically this was the most difficult part unlearning mistakes learned from previous experience.).
Currently:
- Enjoying a bit of Maths lesson everyday.
- Enjoying a bit of code ( reading & writing) everyday over a cup of coffee.
- Enjoying the results of code that I write ( It's an awesome feeling to be the creator ( playing God ; only on my little computer)).
- Reading blogs such as TechCrunch, Mashable, JoelonSoftware, BusinessInsider
- Reading news from Forbes(Technology), BBC (Sports), TimesOfIndia(Economic Times).
- Writing software without VC's in mind and sharing them with needy people for less or no money :)
- Enjoying 24 x 7 with no PMP certified managers sneaking across me ( This again is an awesome feeling).
- Finally, cribbing about Mumbai's terrible traffic and pedestrian behaviour.
